Super holiday mood or simply no mood to work? :p

This qn has been 'swimming' in my head since last Tue...haha...n i still have not found an answer to it...i'd like to say it's super holiday mood as it sounds better ;p

What does deadline mean? = 最后期限?

If A sets the deadline for B to submit the info to C so that C can submit another set of info to A on another deadline, but B didn't meet the deadline...will C be able to meet the deadline to A? and will A be able to meet its own deadline? hmm...so whose fault is it?

A - cos A is the one who sets all the deadline?
B - cos B didn't meet the first deadline, thus delaying all the deadlines?
C - personally i think C is not at fault as C has the excuse of not meeting deadline bcos of B...but if C can still meet the deadline, then it will be bonus to A...

But ultimately, A still has to meet the final deadline...as the meeting dates have been fixed...

when i heard that my long-time idol - Chew Chor Meng, has fallen ill due to muscular dystrophy, i was very sad...way from the time he won the 2nd star search, i began to like him...n has always watched his dramas...最后一个大侠，琼园咖啡香，敢敢做个开心人，金牌师爷，七月幽情，潮洲家族，不老传说，etc...can say i grow up watching his dramas...

i just hope he will do his best to be strong! 加油，周初明! 你可以的!

Finance Tribute Day 18Dec08

It was Finance tribute day on last Fri n quite a many of us volunteered to "sell flags" for the beneficiaries that our company is supporting...

Many ignored us, many looked at the floor as if the floor has something...many stared blankly as if we were invisible...almost all the teenagers wearing school uniforms didn't want to donate...most of the people who donated are the aunties, uncles...

My left hand was quite tired after the whole thing but nevertheless, it was fun...fun seeing people's reactions...n of course, thanks for all the donations...

ps: my first "customer" was an indian lady who first donated a $1 coin...walked away then turned back to donate another $2 note...thank u...u've made my day (",)

Finance gathering

Last Wed 3Dec08, we had our annual finance gathering @ Suntec NUS Guild House...being part of the organising committee, i think it's quite a success...as i feel that the colleagues enjoyed the games & food... :p

'Interesting' sights in the mrt

Monday, when I stepped into the mrt at city hall station, there was this girl with her mum & brother sitting in front of me, she was drinking coke (I think) from mcdonalds…one SMRT service officer came in to tell her no drinking in the mrt…she immediately stopped & passed the drink to her mum & asked her to keep…however, the mum started to drink the coke…n the girl ‘shouted’, “cannot drink, cannot drink, just now that person said cannot drink!”…then the mum said, “make sure it doesn’t topple over” while she tried to keep it in her bag…

I was thinking…who needs more education? The mum or the daughter?

Meanwhile, the son was playing with a ball (with a string / spring attached), throwing it out and catching it back…without considering whether it will hit anyone standing…

Batam getaway

W n I went to batam for a short getaway...n i'm glad i didnt miss any of the 法政先锋episodes ;p

W and I went to Marina Barrage yesterday...after we reached there, dark clouds were already there and soon the guards were 'chasing' everyone who are outside (at the open area) to go into the building as there was lightnings...but we managed to get some pics afterall...hehe...

第一次去台北，也是第一次和W一起去旅行,感觉非常好!

台北给我的印象很好，很舒服...最喜欢的地方是乌来，九份，黄金瀑布，北投...也超喜欢士林的豪大大鸡排，北投的温泉拉面， 西门町的阿宗面线，九份的阿兰芋馃...现在的我是边写边想念这些食物 ;p
