Reunion

Thanks to my manager for tasking LL to work on the budget rev by country spread...if not, I’d hardly have any chance to really know her...she used to work in the company but left a few years ago, then back to help my manager on a part-time basis...during budget time, we were so busy and there was no direct work relations, so we were not close at all...

But since the working on the budget rev spread, I finally have a chance to get to know her, and have an unexpected friendship out of it...

Because of her, it also helps to pull the friendship among FK, SH and I... many thanks to her...

She left the company end of Mar, and last fri, she took half day to have lunch with us...went to her favorite restaurant to have her favorite XO fried rice n dim sum...ha...

听了有一种很幸福的感觉...

Stepping out

Time has come for me to prepare to step out...i’m lucky that things happened the way I want finally...just need to confirm some things n inform some related parties...

Now, I’m keeping my fingers crossed...n hope everything can be smooth n sound...

Breathless

It’s been quite a crazy week for me...in a week, I’ve seen 3 different doctors from 3 different places...n it all started with a sore throat on Sunday...then on Monday, it became sore throat + flu...i went to see the first doc on Monday nite...n 1 colleague actually accompanied me there...although I told her I’m ok, she still insisted to see me there...waited until I’ve seen the doc, then we went home separately...was on mc on Tuesday...the medicine made me very drowsy, no energy at all...slept almost the whole day...

On Wed, I went back to work...sore throat was ok, but my blocked nose led my ear to be blocked as well...so after having dinner with him, he insisted I go see doc again to ask for some non-drowsy medicine...so we went to the 2nd doc...i told the doc that my ear was blocked, but he didn’t even bother to check it at all...both he and the 1st doc didn’t prescribe me any anti-biotics...i wonder why...but I asked for another day of mc...

Well, the next day, Thursday, I woke up feeling ok, so I went to work...but when in the office, my blocked nose came back again, so did my blocked ear...then my ear became very painful...i know blocked nose will normally lead to blocked ear, but it was the first time I experienced pain in the ear...i told my mgr that I was actually on mc, n my ear was painful...at lunch time, I told her, I think I better go home...she said why not go Mount E’s A&E, in case it's ear infection, they can refer me to ENT...so I went...the doc said my ear drum was actually very red...he prescribed me anti-biotics n said it shd be ok...n true enough, the pain subsided...but up to today, my flu is still not ok...really sian...blocked nose makes breathing difficult, so I always feel a bit breathless...

Because of this company, I’m able to see 3 doctors in a week without the need to pay a single cent...this is one benefit that only this company can give...or only this type of company can give...
Last but not least, I really hope I can get well soon...i really hope to get my full breath back soon...the breathless feeling is really very tiring...
