Vitamin C

Due to H1N1, our company gave each of us 1 bottle of vitamin C to build up our immunity...good, rt? even though i'm already taking vitamin C every morning... :)

W and I took half day last Friday…to have a good lunch and run some errands…in the end, we went hog’s breath and W took steak…I thought the steak would be nice cos I heard some good reviews even though I dun eat…but W thinks it’s not fantastic…

Bumped into 4 of my colleagues there…and they were very funny to say they are ‘lightbulbs’…haha…but I said, they were there first, not us… :p their comments abt steak are good leh…I wonder what’s wrong…is W too particular in his taste? :p

My colleagues were thinking whether we are siblings or couple as we look alike…and their conclusion is couple and we have 夫妻相…haha :p

Pls at least acknowledge

The thing abt giving up seats on the mrt or bus...to me, i will give up my seats to pregnant woman, elders, and people carrying children on their arms but not kids...so far, the people that i gave up my seats to, will say thanks or at least smile to me...

However, this evening on the way home, i gave up my seat to a pregnant woman after just sitting for 2 stations...she didn't even smile or thank me...so i wonder, is it really my obligation to give up my seat to her? i'm also tired after working the whole day, i'm wearing heels and my bag is not really light...but i still gave up my seat to her...she shd at least smile to acknowledge my action (not that i didn't smile to her - i did!)...

Just want to say, everyone has a right to the seat, give people the due respect when they gave up their seats to you because you need or seem to need the seat more than them...

Courts

Went to Courts today to check out...

TV, fridge, washing machine, fan, dining table, sofa set, tv console, bedroom suite, mattress...

was quite tired but at least now i have an idea what are things that we need...really a lot...haha...

Over so soon

2 days of leave just over like that...

but i'm glad i accomplished the things that i wanted to do... :)

Weekday afternoon

Walking down the streets of Orchard on a weekday afternoon with no time constraints, no pressure is simply relaxing and cool...i can just walk and stop wherever i want...but the weather is very hot...

It's also been a long time since i last took my fav bus 190...and went to meet up with 2 ex-colleagues for lunch...missed the times when we were still colleagues...

Something perplexing is...there are a lot of people same as me, a lot of people on the bus...on my journey there - quite a lot of people were standing but i was lucky to get a seat...on my way back, no seat for me leh...haha...

Off from the cubicle

On leave today and tomorrow...1st leave taken in 2009...at first had a lot of plans for this jun holidays...but all didnt turn out as what i had in mind...so in the end, just take these 2 days off from the cubicle and do whatever i want to do...

today's weather is gonna be good! :)
