Full day

What a “full” day today...

my bro n I brought our mum to aijsen to have ramen for lunch...i ordered volcano ramen, my mum – pork curry, my bro – crayfish ramen...mine was quite spicy but very yummy and we were all very full after that...my mum thinks it’s too big serving and she commented she prefers crystal jade instead...ok, got the hint, will bring her to crystal jade next time :p

then for dinner, my father wanted to eat steamboat @ bugis...fathers’ day celebration so even though I’m not quite into steamboat, we went...we went “tian tian huo guo” which was quite crowded...we ordered half chicken wanton soup, half ‘ma-la’ soup (we were considering between ‘ma-la’ and tom yam actually but settled on ‘ma-la’ in the end) ...and ‘ma-la’ is indeed ‘ma-la’, as after a while, our lips started to feel numb...but it’s appetizing...however overall, it’s just normal steamboat...not much surprises (to me la) although it’s been advertised on tv...it’s $19.80+ per person and 2 soups for $10...i wonder why the soup $ is separately counted...how to eat steamboat without soup??
