Friday nite @ Orchard

Seems like it’s fated that I have to work late almost every Friday...i wonder why...have to think of a way to break it...ha..maybe it’s to tide over the weekends, give other people something to do over the weekends :p ...anyway, it’s just work...just get it done so that can rest better (a clear conscience ;p) over the weekends...

Yesterday nite (Friday) had to work late again...well, the CFO demanded to see the “colors”, so we die die also must give it to her...told her the figures not ready, not our fault but upstairs’...she still insisted for us to use the management accounts...well, be it la...whatever she says...the SFC said, the CFO just wants us to work late...i wonder why, both the CFO and SFC have to attend a whole-day budget hearing the next day (Sat – today), so why “torture” her? Talk abt the budget hearing on Sat, it’s very lucky that we do not have to attend, so I better dun complain anymore :p

So yesterday, the SFC, her secretary n I worked till 9pm just to get the “colors” done...left the office with the secretary...aiyo, it’s Friday nite and it’s orchard leh...so many people walking, enjoying the nite...ha...so we decided to walk to taka to catch a bite...as we walked, we wonder why is it that we had to work so late on a Friday nite, and ended up in each other’s company...ha...well, what to do, rt? At least I’m the one who accompanied her, not the CFO...ha... :p
