拍照日记

Took half day on 6 Aug to do my nails…compliments of HY…

* the process started at abt 125pm…first on my finger nails…the manicurist did the usual filing, trimming of nails before she proceeded with the nail extension…it is an amazing yet a tedious process…to see how the manicurist transforms powder into nails…
* after she is done with the extension, we proceeded to the area to do the pedicure together with the completion of my finger nails…after a brief discussion on what we think will look nice on my finger nails, she proceeded with the nail art…same for the pedicurist who also proceeded with her makings of my toe nails…
* I walked out of the salon at about 450pm…fully satisfied with what the manicurist and pedicurist did on my nails…particularly my finger nails…they caught the attention of many…however, at the same time, they caused quite a bit of inconvenience to me esp on SMS, removing of contact lens, etc…but it is certainly worth it :)

On 7 Aug, the day of our photo shoots,
* arrived at the studio at 955am and there was another couple inside whose schedule was 9am…our make-up artist Apple, arrived shortly and started my make-up while W took his mac breakfast + milo…
* 1st set of costume – the chinese kua…the reason for the Chinese kua to go first is that normally in the beginning, we will be more tense so we go with the fewer number of photographs first…then when it’s our wedding gown’s turn, we will be relax and will be more natural…
* while the 1st couple was taking their shoots, we were still in the midst of our ‘transformation’…and when it was our turn…we saw Sam, our photographer, coming up…our impression of Sam had always been quite stern and very unfriendly…but when we got to know him, he’s like a different person…he’s funny and a bit crap…which is certainly necessary for us and others to relax so as to take better pictures…both W and I thought that Sam looks a bit like the HongKong actor 马德中…haha…
* 2nd set – an evening gown which is very different from the rest of my gowns…which I think is not bad in terms of color and design… ;p
* 3rd set – our actual day evening gown – which is my favorite of all 5 sets…I like the hairdo that Apple did for me…made me look very sweet… :p
* 4th set – our wedding gown…and in Apple’s good hands, I was ‘transformed’ into a princess…which I like very very much…and the different hand bouquets provided for the photo shoots were very fresh and beautiful…3 different bouquets (pink roses, ivory roses and tulips) for this set of costume…
* finally the 5th set – the outdoor set…and off we went to Changi…first to Changi SAF there for the lallang field…and honestly, we didn’t know what Sam was trying to take until we saw the photos…amazing…haha…second to Changi Broadwalk…where W saw his fren there taking wedding photo shoots too :p the most pity thing was that there was no sunset as it was quite hazy…and the 3 of us actually got bitten by ants :(
* when we returned to the studio, it was like 7+pm and we were tired…after changing out, we went to have dinner @ crystal jade and ended our tiring yet fun day… :)
